to the Homepage for Southern MD Trail Riders
We are a non-competitive club,
providing as many opportunities as possible to host group rides on
private land otherwise not available to the public. This is done through the
generosity of local land owners. If you are a land owner or know
of a land owner who would be interested in hosting a group ride

The SMTR Dinner/Dance and General Meeting is
scheduled for
Saturday January 30, 2010.
There is a deadline for reservations.

Occasionally a ride will have to
be cancelled or postponed. In the event of
any ride status change, ride status will be posted on this page at
least 24 hours prior to a published ride start.
Ride registration forms are at each ride, or you can Click
Here to download a form to PRINT and bring with you (please do
not submit it by email yet-it might be missed).

Group rides mean many different horses and people. All SMTR sponsored rides require a negative Coggins to participate. For your convenience, you may bring
a copy of your
Coggins each year, to remain on file. Coggins status is
checked at each ride during registration. Please remember to bring
an updated copy each year.
In order to adequately protect your horse and
others, SMTR recommends that you follow your veterinarian's advice
for protecting his/her health and safety. That includes de-worming and
vaccinations.

your horse's health
or safety when participating in our events.
