are at 7:00 pm the second Thursday of each month at
the LaPlata Train Station 101 Kent Ave. LaPlata, MD
The SMTR Summer Membership Meeting is Saturday August 28th starting at 12 NOON in Clements, Maryland - bring your swim suit this year!
Our club will provide the hamburgers, hotdogs, buns and sodas. We are asking everyone to bring a covered side dish or dessert. Our hostess for this event is Jennifer Hurry. Please call Mary Hare at 301- 934-3453 or email her at myqoldnhorse@yahoo.com to RSVP
SMTR members are FREE; Non-Members: $10.00;
Non-Members kids 12 & under Free.
The meeting itself is usually short and we would like to get as many members as possible to attend. Please come and have your voice and ideas heard, have a great time and meet your fellow members.

be cancelled or postponed. In the event of
any ride status change, ride status will be posted on this page at
least 24 hours prior to a published ride start.

Please note: if you see a photo of yourself or your family that you don't wish to be shared, contact the person who took the photos, or the SMTR website editor and request that it be removed.
Group rides mean many different horses and people. All SMTR sponsored rides require a negative Coggins to participate. For your convenience, you may bring
a copy of your Coggins each year, to remain on file. Coggins status is
checked at each ride during registration. Please remember to bring
an updated copy each year.
In order to adequately protect your horse and
others, SMTR recommends that you follow your veterinarian's advice
for protecting his/her health and safety. That includes de-worming and
vaccinations.
SMTR holds no responsibility for
your horse's health
or safety when participating in our events.
