SMTR Ride Information & Schedule
Most of our monthly rides are local to
Southern Maryland area, although we do host one overnight ride a
year, which is within a 2 hour drive of SOMD. We are
non-competitive (except for the one judged ride we do every year) and riders
enjoy the pre-marked trails at their own pace.
Our rides usually end with a gathering of friends over
food either sold or brought in as a covered dish. We also host at least
one overnight/weekend ride held in August and two General Meetings per year, one at the start of the year to welcome in new board members and one in July.

The True Grit Ride, our last ride for the year is FREE
So do come out and enjoy the time with your fellow equestrians and club members.
Remember to bring something to eat and drink, a food venfor won't be available for this ride.
